GRADE 10
This course is designed as a strong base knowledge to your Vocational Graphic studies. Students will experience computer technology, with: Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.
Students will also experience hands on work in the production area and learn about: digital print, screen printing, laser cutting as well as bindery & finishing.
Course is based on the MB Government curriculum, Grade 10's can sign up for Graphic Design or Graphic Communications and Print Tech.
GRADE 11 & 12
Students will experience computer technology with, Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign, moving into intermediate and advanced levels, using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign.
Students will also experience hands on work in the production area and learn more about, digital, offset, screen and pad printing as well as finishing equipment.
This year will focus on live jobs, portfolio presentation and industry level skill, as well as team work in a group project.
Course is based on the MB Government curriculum for Grade 11 and 12.
POST HIGH
Students are welcome to study graphics at
Tec-Voc Full time (all day) to complete all 3 years of the program in one year. Students must be under 21 years of age, and have graduated.
Student also will prepare for Post-Secondary programs during this time, preparing for RRC or
U of M fine arts portfolio. Also, use this to learn a sound base of skills to make an easier transition to their next step in learning, or prepare for work placement in industry.
