MAC LAB
Tec-Voc Graphics prides itself in having current technology, with 30+ Mac computers in the lab, as well as the intrigration of ipads. Ipads are used for corporate style presentation of projects, and use of video, photo, and epublishing. Graphics has a focus of Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign, however all Adobe software is installed for use by students.
STUDIO
Studio areas are set up for Green Screen photography for placing yourself in your favourite movie posters, or small light boxes to take shots of your finished projects.
The light tables and drawing areas are used to develop skills in illustration.
CLASSROOM
Our Classroom is an area to get feedback from other peers, to collaborate ideas, and let our creative ideas flow. The Classroom is set up for presentation, HDMI projector and as well as apple TV so that presentations can be done wirelessly with ipads. Team work is the focus of our classroom.
DIGITAL
Our Digital area contains a Canon mid-size industrial copier, scanner and printer, as well as two Roland printer / cutters, and HP photo quality wide format printer, and a cold laminator. Construction of Banners, with or without Grommets; Vinyl Decals, Tshirt Vinyl for jerseys, Car Decals. Also a wide format cutter for Plasticor and
foamcore signs.
PRODUCTION
We have a full production facilty, with eight color screen printing manual printer , offset printing, pad printing, foil stamping. Also we have bindery (coil, cerlox and perfect bindery, stitching, folders, bookletmakers and industrial cutter, as well as fun project equipment
like 2 1/4" and 1 1/4" button maker. This year we have added a Laser Cutter / engraver. Study of Safety practices are vital in our program
